A Cartecay River Retreat Description
This cabin has a wonderful Riverfront location on the swift running Cartecay River. There is a fire pit right down on the riverbank for cool weather enjoyment & listening to the rushing waters. On the Main Level you have a cozy great room with wood burning fireplace, a large LCD TV, DVD player, and Direct TV, a sofa, easy chair, AM/FM Stereo w/auxiliary connection and TV tray service for 4. This cabin has pine floors and cathedral ceilings. Into the full kitchen is equipped with microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker, fully equipped with utensils, silverware, dishes, pots & pans and a bar with stools. On into the master bedroom you have a brand new queen bed, armoire, TV w/VCR and Direct TV and a closet. Outside you have a beautiful deck with a charcoal grill, table and 4 chairs overlooking the river and steps down to the river. Moving on upstairs to the Loft area you have bedroom two with two queen beds, a dresser and a full bath. The games area has a game table with 4 chairs, a variety of books, games and a Stereo w/5 CD Changer and Auxiliary Connection.
Moving downstairs you have a washer & dryer, chairs, games area with Foosball, a new ping pong table and boom box, then out to the lower deck with hot tub overlooking the river with steps continuing down to the river banks to the chairs and fire pit.

FIRE PIT down by the rushing water for watching the stunning star nights in our North Georgia Mountains.
Fly fishing, kayaking, white water rafting, tubing, Aska Trails Adventure Area, Rich Mountain Wilderness Area, Amicalola Falls State Park and miles and miles of hiking and biking trails featuring grand mountain views and numerous majestic falls. Visit Ellijay or Blue Ridge for Antique Shopping & Gift Stores. Downtown Ellijay has a wonderful Wine Shop & Bakery. Spend a day at either Lake Blue Ridge or Lake Nottley; fish the Toccoa River; take a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad; raft down the Ocoee River; go horseback riding at one of the many stables; enjoy the apple barns, the fall festivals, the antique stores, the art museums; spend a night out under the stars at the Swan Drive-in; take a scenic driving tour through the North Georgia mountains and at the end of the day enjoy a wonder meal at one of the many fine restaurants in the area.
